Broodmare not for sale -

GOLDEN SUPREME (TB)

(GOLDIE)

Foaled 1989

Registered Jockey Club & Canadian TB Horse Society

16 hands

Oh, oh. Foal and dam got separated in the pasture! Photo taken July 19, 2002

Race Record: At 2, unraced. At 3, unplaced in 2 starts. Earned $56. OK, so she's not fast.

But this mare has exceptional movement, a good broodmare for producing dressage prospects and especially driving horses. As you can see from the photo above she has a lot of athletic ability in her back, and when not panicking about her foal she has a nice athletic topline. She is not a daisy cutter, but picks up her feet well - a trait whips will appreciate. She is sorrel with white and has lots of mass with good, powerful hindquarters and a very friendly disposition, with little spook. We have one of her TB offspring, Legacy Hummer (great grandsires Secretariat and Northern Dancer), who will be one of our broodmares when she matures. Hummer looks a lot like her dam and has athletic ability, but doesn't have the knee action of her dam. Goldie's 2002 Cleveland Bay partbred baby, a bay filly - Legacy Clix, will be a big, solid mare and she mimicks her dam's action. Clix has been sold to Connecticut. Goldie's 2003 Cleveland Bay partbred baby, a chestnut colt - Legacy Dexter, will also be a big, solid horse. He is high headed and is a definite dressage prospect.
